Priyanka Chopra has always spoken out about the difficulties she experiences working in the film industry. The actress has mentioned in a few conversations that she had to reinvent herself in Hollywood after being “pushed into a corner” or dealing with “politics” in Bollywood. She recently talked about being turned down for roles in movies for a variety of reasons, including the casting of someone else’s girlfriend.
Priyanka Chopra showed up on the Read The Room digital broadcast and talked about dealing with dismissal. “It’s hard,” she said. Particularly in a task in light of approval. Whether it is the number of individuals that come and watch your film or your chief’s opinion on your presentation or what your projecting specialist thinks, it is all abstract.” She proceeded, “I have seen such a lot of dismissal in the film business for such countless reasons.
Whether I wasn’t appropriate for the job, whether it was partiality, whether it was that someone’s girlfriend was projected, similar to there are such countless reasons it worked out. I’ve been at peace for a long time. It exists. We can all say, “I am confident and better than that.” It isn’t correct. You need to permit yourself to feel the dismissal. It’s like lamenting. It is something I do. I will continue on. I’ll disregard it. Quite some time ago, I came to harmony with dismissal at work.”
Priyanka Chopra talked openly about taking a break from Bollywood earlier this year. She also stated that politics had become too much for her. Conversing with Dax Shepard on his podcast Armchair Expert, Priyanka shared, “I’ve never said this so I will say it since you’ll encourage me” and proceeded, “I was being driven into a corner in the business (Bollywood). I had individuals not projecting me, I had beef with individuals, I’m bad at playing that game so I sort of was worn out on the politics and I said I wanted a break.”
Following the release of songs like “In My City” and “Exotic,” Priyanka Chopra relocated to the United States in 2012.
